Extremely excited to announce that a revised edition of The Petrified Christ, the first book of the new "Blanket Trilogy," will be released this June. I've already moved up the release date from my originally projected fall date, and I couldn't be happier with the product. Amazon is going to be a great partnership, and I can't thank Team Torres enough for getting the project started with a such a high level of quality.
Funny thing is ... I have yet to hold a physical copy of the book in my hand, but hopefully I'll be receiving a proof of the finished product no later than Thursday of this week.
Expect a short story to be coming soon here on my website, which I'll write and publish before starting the revision of the second book, Scenes from the Blanket.
Cover design is done thanks to Scott Frilot and Sally Asher, and I couldn't be happier. Can't stop looking at it, and there's two more to do. Now I'm in Destin, Florida where I'll be working on some short stories and possibly even beginning the revision of the Blanket book.
I have a good PDF of the formatted Christ book now, and it was harder than actually writing the thing.
Totally just seeing if this posts at the top of a feed. In a way this is news, right? The news is that I'm getting to learn my own website.
